This right here is great for decking, tiles or stones in the back garden if weighted down. It’s also great for picnics on grass or trips to the beach. So certainly very versatile. The design is eye catching and the colour choice of brown or black is decent. It’s very light and the weave is not super tight so doesn’t become water logged but does make it quite fragile. It has a bit of a plasticky texture and smell but it’s not a huge negative. I do think it’s pricey considering the quality as I don’t think it’ll last more than one summer outside.

This outdoor rug has made a really nice seating area. I have added 2 chairs, a table, 2 pots and a lantern. This makes what was just a dull slate area look like a designated seating area and the rug makes it feel nice to sit at even with bare feet. It is holding up very well in the weather and adds a nice splash of colour. It has made an unused area look like a designed to be used and sat in area now. Very please and love the comments when family visit and use it.

First off, I will just point out that I got this item to use inside in my conservatory, rather than as an outside mat, hoping it would be easier to keep clean than a carpeted type with dogs running in and out. As I am not using it for it's main purpose I have generously awarded four stars, otherwise I may have dropped to three, based on the quality of finish and lack of accessories supplied with the larger versionHaving acquired the 150 x 240cm (roughly 5 x 8ft) version of the mat I did not receive any pegs or storage cover as those with the slightly larger version did, bit disappointing as it was supplied wrapped in a standard plastic bag with no extras.The mat is made from a polypropylene / plastic type wicker / straw weave with slightly reinforced edges, with the four corners having peg down tags, (no pegs provided), after unwrapping, as it wasfolded within a plastic bag there were a lot of fold / crease lines, these have still not dropped out, even after a few days in a warm conservatory.The mat has a dual sided pattern, with one side being predominantly brown with white highlights, the other a reversal. The actual finish, IMO is not very good, you can clearly see where the panels have been joined due yo stitching gaps, plus the pattern doesn't always match at the joins, this is more noticable close up than at a distance. Probably not a such big issue if using under an outdoor table etc.It has brightened up the conservatory, I really cannot comment on durability or wear as only had the item a few days, and as previously stated, not being used for designated purpose, I have yet to attempt to hose down or clean the item, but with our current spell of Valleys weather I imagine it won't be long until I have too (I will update review if any issues). One of the dogs seems to like it so at the moment it stays.Unsure whether to recommend or not, it may be fine if using as a picnic throw down blanket, under your table for family BBQs etc, but persoanlly I am not totally impressed with the quality of finish at its current price point, hopefully the pics will highlight some of the issues, as well as the contrasting front / back variations in pattern

This outdoor rug has a nice design, colour and style to it which I like.It's a good size to get a few bums sat on it or to lay down on.Its quite hard wearing and durable which does make it ideal for outdoor usage.I like the fact its easily cleaned and can de done so with a hosepipe.It's suitable for many uses such as in the garden, for a picnic, at the beach, camping etc.It suits our outdoor rattan furniture quite well.Takes a little to fold out and get it to lay flat but no big problem really.This will be ideal to use for the floor in the living space of our tent so we are looking forward to taking it with us.Others have said theirs come with a storage bag.... mine hasn't and I'm not sure if it's suppose to but either way it would be useful having one to preserve the rug and for easy carry/storage.That's my reason for 1 less star.Overall its a great product and good value for money.

This came in a reusable storage bag, and included four metal pegs for anchoring corners. The mat is quite thin and lightweight, making it easy to unpack and fold. The pegs are useful to secure the corners if not immediately putting items onto it. I also use a large heavy duty plastic tarpaulin in the garden, and even that can lift in the wind without anything on it, so the potential for this to do the same is not a fault but somewhat inevitable. It's good that this is recognised in the design and catered for. On a hard surface such as a patio, a few rocks, chair legs or pots should avoid any issues.I've left it out for a few days of mostly dry weather, and there have been no problems so far aside from the odd bird deposit. Thankfully it's easy to clean.Not as nice as a soft blanket, but more practical and good overall.
