The cotton plugs came in a plastic post bag. It is obvious they were taken out of a larger batch. Not sterile or suitable to be used on an active nose bleed as it could be contaminated with all sorts. Returned to manufacturer and got a refund directly on my Amazon credit.

So far ive bought this product twice , was very happy with the first order lot of 50 which was firm but soft enough to insert and stop the bleed but was dissapointed with my second order as the plugs arrived in different packaging and were extreemly soft and quite fluffy which made it very difficult to insert far enough up my nostril to stop the bleeding. I will try one more order as Im now running short , hopefuly they send me the correct plugs this time as I will return the this time if not,

Having suffered several nose injuries over the years my nose has the tendency to bleed, normally just a short bleed but it has led at times to overnight in hospital to plug/pack it to get it under control, I decided to have these in for the times it won't stanch naturally. Easy to use, comfortable to insert.
