I have a very wide foot, and, though I had to order a 'size up,' this width fit perfectly. I hate the look of running shoes, and wanted the Mary Jane style, since wet, icy days mean needing textured, rubber soles. They are attractive enough to wear with nice slacks, and the grey blends well. I had no trouble walking on the wet pavement, and felt no pain, though I have both plantar fasciitis and arthritis.

Year ago Propet offered structured shoes that offered support but decent looking. Now with fabric there is no support, but sole is comfortable. I need structure for walking not slippers.
