Ich nutze diese Machete zusammen mit dem Ambulo Messer von Wolfangs/Odenwolf (siehe Bild).Habe die Messerscheide mit etwas Paracord befestigt sodass ich bei kleineren Sachen nicht erst die Machete nutzen muss.Damit kann das campen, angeln, kochen und co beginnen!Kleiner Tipp am Rande: Nutzt etwas Paracord um euch ein Legstrap zu basteln damit die Machete nicht so sehr rumwackelt.

Schon geiles Teil! Größer wie gedacht. Massiv. Toller Griff.Dafür gibt's 5 SterneVerpackung war stark beschädigt auch Produkt Karton war beschädigt, Messer aber ok nach genauer Prüfung.Ich wollte erst zurück schicken, ABER das geht nur per DPD was leider mit erheblich mehr Aufwand bei mir gepaart ist. Ist DHL jetzt besser...na ja...aber viel öfter und näher vertreten.Letztlich kann Händlern nix für den lieferdienst wenn der Mist macht ( Karton weitwurf oder wie auch immer der so beschädigt wurde) aber Rücksendung kann mit DHL besser als mit DPD laufen Schon wegen der Anzahl an Paket Boxen.Für alle die eine wirklich gute Machete wollen kann ich das Teil nur empfehlen.

Ich würde sagen. Das Konzept ist stimmig, wenn auch von einem skandinavischen Messerhersteller etwas abgeguckt. Also soweit wären es 5 Sterne.Jetzt zu den negativen :Der Griff ist mit für den Preis etwas zu rutschig und die Messerhülle hat einen Druckknopf, der so stark ist, dass beinahe die Textillasche gerissen wäre. Zudem ist die Schneide nicht wirklich scharf geschliffen, aber solange man das mit einem Schleifstein korrigieren kann, ist das nur ein kleines Problem.Fazit:Alles in allem geht das für den Preis in Ordnung. Kann man also getrost kaufen.

I have small hands and this is a nice sized handle for me. My search for the perfect machete continues, however. I am looking for something that slices through vegetation, and this feels too fat and short and more for hacking. It is the best one I have tried but its still not it!! I was able to hack through some spent baloon flower but it took that - hacking away a few times before the stems would break. Perhaps I could try sharpening the blade... It does easily have through green stems. Can't gift because the box came damaged. The sheath is very protective and the knife is very good looking.

Liegt gut in der Hand und ist super scharf. Sehr gut verarbeitet aus hochwertigen Marterialien. Absolut zu empfehlen!!!!

The design of the knife is excellent. It has thick blade stock and should hold up well for tough use. The extra long handle and weight help with easy of chopping. The edge right out of the box was quite sharp, paper cutting sharp but not hair shaving sharp. I stropped it on a green compounded leather belt and it is now hair shaving sharp. I will most likely not chop branches with it because I also carry a folding saw. Batoning should be just fine. This knife is great for camping and preparing food, cutting meat and chopping a whole chicken in half. It is also great for bush craft. An 2 inches section of the blade close to the handle is sharpened at a steeper angle for super sharp cutting purpose such as feathering a stick or anything require precision cutting. Most other machetes are made of thin flimsy sheet metal but this one is made of D2 steel and the blade is thick and strong. The sheath is a very good fit and of proper retention for holding the knife but also allows for easy withdrawal. I like plastic sheath over leather sheath for outdoor knife so I don't need to worry about whatever nature throws at you, rain, water, dirt and abuse. I highly recommend this knife.

Schnelle Lieferung... das Messer liegt sehr gut in der Hand, hat ein gutes Gewicht und absolut tolles Design und Verarbeitung. Es ist super scharf und robust. Entspricht voll und ganz meinen Erwartungen. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

I honestly don't have a practical use for this item but I always wanted to build a emergency survival kit and this was a neat tacticool addition to the kit. It's sharp - I may have sliced a shirt a little messing around with it (please remember this is a tool and not a toy and do not play with it near pets, glass tables, other people, or things you love).The sheath locks into place nicely and the belt clip allows it to attach easily to your belt for ordinary use, but if you are going into the wilderness with it I would utilize the extra loop holes on the sheath to strap it to your leg since the belt clip just uses snaps that can come undone with a lot of movement. Always anticipate that any gear that isn't strapped to your body can come detached with sufficient movement.The blade is longer than a bread knife but shorter than a traditional length machete. It's pretty thick steel and doesn't seem flimsy at all. Very suitable for yard work if that's what your are getting it for and not just because it's extremely cool. Which it is.I wanted to do a chop test but the truth is i don't really need to chop anything and you probably don't either but if you did you could do it with this and that's as good as excuse as any isn't it? It was for me.

Very nice, very well made, very SHARP machete. This thing is sharper than most razors. The handle has a very good grip even if your hands are sweaty, this thing won't slip. Overall top quality machete. The sheath is very nice and well made, as well. Versatile and durable, all the way around. 100% would recommend this to EVERY outdoor or knife enthusiast! Worth every penny! I would pay 150 for this, to be honest. I am very impressed with it's craftsmanship. Excellent product.
