The six surface-mounted devices were an adventure for me, having never soldered these before. But patience pays off, and I finished up with a working unit. The PCB and components are of good quality, and clear instructions are included. Good luck reading the schematic from the web link provided. I certainly couldn't. I think this will work well as a signal injector to help diagnose faulty projects. Overall, this was a great experience and helped me develop a new soldering skill. I need a lot more practice.

I own the xr2022 one that i made a few years ago and it is great especially as its portable with the 9v battery and this kit looks good and it has higher values it states 20Mhz however after looking at different youtube channels i thing a 5Mhz rating is a bit more sensible however for this price this is still a good deal i think i look forward to building it,The pcb is a good quality one and the parts are all in ziplock bags which are good quality im sure it will be a good kit to build,5 stars.

This is pretty difficult to construct, as another commenter pointed out. My first time soldering surface mount using only soldering iron and solder.I did successfully get it to work, but I was NOT confident in my soldering job initially.The instructions of which components to put where are clear IMO.The wave output could be a little cleaner, it's okay. Also, it doesn't go all the way up to 20MHz, only around 15MHz.Conclusion: unless you really want to cut costs, find a preconstructed one instead. It's a good piece of kit once complete.

Ich wollte dieses Produkt als Hobby und für Experimentalzwecke verwenden um diverse eigene Schaltungen mit verschiedenen Signalformen speisen zu können,ohne einen teuren professionellen Signalgenerator zu kaufen. Spass am Basteln soll dabei im Vordergrund stehen.Das Ergebnis entsprach meinen Erwartungen. Es liefert die versprochenen Signalformen und diverse Einstellungsmöglichkeiten.Bei höheren Frequenzen werden die Signale unsauber, aber das hätte ich auch nicht erwartet für eine simples DIY Kit.Nachteile:Die Bauanleitung ist sehr rudimentär gehalten, es gibt einen QR-Code der auf eine WebPage mit der Anleitung führt, aber der Schaltplan ist auf der Webpageals JPG Bild gespeichert und Beschriftungen nicht lesbar.Der Bausatz enthält SMD Teile, die meines Erachtens schwierig zu löten sind. Besonders klein sind zwei Tantalkondensatoren. Dessen sollte man sich bewußt sein.

For 30 quid it’s a steal. Produces adequate sinewave, triangular and square wave at good range of frequencies and voltages. Sine is a little triangular but only a little.PCB is good quality. Soldering is 95% through hole. 4 ICs and two surface mount caps to solder. A steady hand, a bit of blutac to hold things in place, and a couple of minutes studying a YouTube video on how to do it and surface mount soldering is fine.
