This thing is amazing, gets better after your first wash so maybe pre wash and dry it unless your to excited to try it out. Handles tsunami level storms

We received our blanket today and I threw it into the wash right away as was suggested by many reviewers. The purpose to wash the blanket first was to kick start the process being able to absorb liquid(s) and hold them somewhere. So, the wash did not complete. The weight once wet is too much. How does anyone clean theirs and so frequently as some have touted?

This might be the most awkward review I have ever left but it is most important when you have that "special someone" in your life that (I am trying to pass the screeners censorship) displays her pleasure in a unique way. This is a MUST HAVE for that person.I am honestly impressed with the material and craftsmanship. I ordered the larger size (King) for my Queen size bed because, well, I just wanted to ensure the whole bed was covered (if you know what I mean). I do not regret that decision. The blanket is beautiful. The color is crisp (Merlot Red) and has nice stitching. It is heavy for a blanket but can be moved easily. That is important because, yes, you will need to move it to the washer at the end of the night.The large size covers the bed but is so attractive I plan to leave it on the bed after each washing. I have used it for its designed purpose a dozen times so far and I am very happy with this product. It protected the bed yet was very comfortable. The Liberator (AKA Love Rug) took the best we could give it and left the bedding/sheets bone dry. We did use one towel as a precaution (versus 6 on other occasions). This product has become an essential "must have" addition to the experience. I can not state this enough. THIS IS A GAME CHANGER!I washed it on warm and placed it in dryer on low heat for 60 min. I then let it dry further underneath the ceiling fan or in a cloths line I have inside my carport overnight. It maintains its nice color and shape. (I had read in other reviews that people were concerned it would take too long to dry using low heat.)Bonus: It is made in the U.S.A (Atlanta, Ga). I would hug the people responsible for the Liberator if I could ever meet them. THANK YOU!!!

The product works fairly well. Be careful getting up if you squirt a lot. It pools up under you and will roll right off if you’re not careful how you take it off the bed.Cleaning is easy, drying is not. You can’t dry it on normal heat, it needs low heat. I can never get it fully dry unless I leave it outside on a drying rack for a couple hours. Overall I enjoy it for what it does. But I definitely wouldn’t spend that much money on it again.
