The tips line up perfectly, joint is precise and smooth, the edges are ground crisply but are not sharp, handles are comfortable.My key question when ordering was how big they were. I realize they're five inches long, but it was hard for me to visualize how big that would make the jaws and handles. I would say these are small pliers. Not quite precision-pliers sized, but certainly not as large as typical side cutters or needle-nose pliers etc. Should work good for my intended purpose of helping me bend wire loops for electrical work.I did notice some defects in the finish on the inside of the jaws. I think that's from rubbing against the packaging. It doesn't bother me, but I was scrutinizing them for defects and that's one I found.I haven't subjected these pliers to a strenuous work session yet, but they look good on arrival.

These are perfect , i use them to bend 1/16 316 grade stainless steel rods for fishing clips and things ! Super strong pliers , great handle , they were shipped over night with my prime ! 5☆ all the way !!!!

eine handelsübliche Zange die ihren Zweck erfüllt.Ihre schöne rote Farbe erinnert an das Blut das fließ, wenn man Jemandem ohne Weiteres die Zähne zieht.Das ist sehr praktisch, weil man das Blut darauf nicht sofort sieht.

I had been looking for a good, sturdy pair of round-nose pliers to make loops in piano wire. The first pair I tried, from a piano supply house, was flimsy and the jaws were not perfectly round. On the second pair I tried, the jaws were too long and narrow to do the job right. I needed something with jaws that were sufficiently thick close to the tip. I knew Knipex to be a good brand for this particular tool, but took me a while to figure out which size pliers to get. I finally ended up with these after consulting another piano tech friend (and seeing the other piano tech's review here). They are perfect for what I use them for, and I love the comfort grips. I would have done without them to save a little space were this tool going in my road case, but I mainly use it at the shop, so I don't mind there being a little extra bulk for the sake of comfort. The tool arrived to me clean, in great condition, and operating smoothly.

I'm a piano technician, and I deal w/ very stiff wire which needs to be bent in round shapes. Regular long-nosed can't do that.I love the size & feel of these pliers. The Grip has extra padding, so it doesn't dig into my hands as bad as others I've used.
