I got this lunch box for my boyfriends, lol I liked it so much I am not using it for me. It is nice and big. I can pack so much food in the box, I think I add way too much food. The only thing is it's a bit wobbly.

My brother is moving away, taking his Igloo cooler bag with him, so I can't borrow it anymore and needed my own. I decided to compare this one to his Igloo 6 Can Collapse and Cool blue Soft Sided Cooler bag. In the photos, his Igloo bag is the smaller one with blue on it. The HOTOR cooler bag is the larger one that is all black.The prosSize and pockets: This HOTOR cooler bag is noticeably larger than his Igloo cooler bag, which would cost you about twice as much as this cooler bag does. Further, this HOTOR cooler bag has mesh pockets on both sides, a roomy mesh pocket inside (across the top), plus a roomy zipper pouch in front. The Igloo bag only has a mesh pocket across the front and some velcro can holders inside (also across the top). The HOTOR bag is a clear winner as far as size and pockets!Strap: Both cooler bags have an adjustable strap, which reaches equal lengths for both bags. However, this HOTOR lunch bag has a soft hand grip on its strap.The one con:Temperature: This HOTOR cooler probably deserves 5 stars, considering it is only $10, but the lack of insulating foam was disappointing enough that I removed a star for that. Unfortunately, it is nearly November, so I can't compare these cooler bags on a hot day. I instead left both to sit overnight for 8 hours with an identical plastic blue Coleman cooler block from my freezer and an identical small bottle of water zipped up in each one. The room probably averaged about 70 degrees all night.The next morning, the water bottle in the Igloo bag still felt like I was taking it out of my fridge to drink it. It was so cold that it would cool you off on a hot day. Fortunately, the one in this HOTOR lunch bag was also still cold, though somewhat less so. The water was not so chilled that it would cool you down, but it would still make a nice, cold drink. It was cool enough to have been left believably sitting in a cooler instead of a fridge, but 8 hours later, both the cooler block and the bottle of water were still quite noticeably colder than room temperature, so that is good.I can't say for sure that the reason behind the temperature difference was not due to the fact that the water bottle was snuggled against the Coleman cooler block all night in the smaller Igloo bag. That may be why the Igloo bag kept the water cooler. Both Coleman cooler blocks were still too cold to hold for long enough to compare them the next day.However, I suspect one reason the HOTOR bag did not keep the drink as cold as the Igloo bag is this HOTOR bag lacks insulating foam between the inner and outer layer of the bag. For this reason, I would only keep drinks in the HOTOR bag if your food must be chilled for hours. I would not keep food in it for a lengthy amount of time or on a hot day without adding some of my own insulation, such as styrofoam. However, if you are on a budget and are looking to create your own cheap cooler bag which is as good or almost as good as an Igloo bag but for less money, you could sew a zipper on the grey inside lining of this HOTOR bag and try various food safe insulating foam linings between the inner and outer layer of this bag. Other than the foam insulating lining that puffs up the walls of an Igloo bag, this bag appears to be identical to the smaller Igloo bag. It is only lacking that foam insulation that helps to keep food cold.

A great basic budget insulated lunchbox. I would have liked a few more pockets but can't complain at this low price. I can fit a huge ice pack in the bag, six cans of soda, and a few other small items. The zipper runs smoothly. The top handle and strap are both sturdy.

The size is perfect for a work lunch. It's basic but great for insulating and carrying my food.
