Perfect safe and does everything I was looking for. Securely store your weapon in your car with ease of mind and had quick deployment with plenty of options to open the safe. The bladder worked great and is a ingenious design. The one knock I have is cable to physical tie it to the car could be attached more sturdy to the safe.

This does its job and is very useful for those unexpected “gun free” zones. The cable is not going to keep a determined thief from stealing it, but a vehicle is not the place to store a firearm anyways. The code is easy to enter, and it comes with many different RFID means of entry. I just put an RFID sticker on my key fob, and I have a safe in both of my vehicles now.

works well and accommodates small firearms. Cable lock secures safe. Nice to have something to keep young prying hands off. Especially like that u can either swipe the fob/ punch in the combination or use the wrist strap. Am considering buying another one.

Well I was really excited to get this in the mail today. I have a grandson and would like to keep him safe. This is a really great made product for the price. It was pretty easy to program. It’s very fast acting so when seconds count this could be a very valuable tool if ever needed in a situation. So here’s. Just a. Few suggestions: the bladder is ok to be portable. But shakes in my F150 so I’m gonna make a 5” angle bracket and screw to the floor. Then I could move over 3” toward the passenger seat so it had plenty of room to access door without putting on passenger side. Then I won’t need a safety cable tied to the seat frame. I know I’ll have to purchase another for wife’s car but I can always keep bladder for a spare if it blows. Now the second thing, the cable says to thread their seat and secure to box with screw and nut. Ad I won’t need on this one in my truck but will I plan to just secure cable to box on the one for wife’s car and use a padlock thru the loop and I can always just unlock and set aside if she doesn’t want to ride with it in her way. Lol I really doubt that anyway, because carrying now is just a way of life and I always need a secure place for my tool, just in case we go on a hospital or somewhere that it’s illegal to carry on a property, I will need this security of my valued tool in a dfw place. Good luck everyone, I would give a 10 if rating was that high. I really think Hornaday outdone theirs self with barrel key, a number code or bracelets and keychain and 2 rf stickers. Good deal is I say soUpdate: I didn’t like the way it was far over on passenger side of pickup so it was better on driver side but little floppy. So I’ve included a picture and made a small bracket to fasten to center of floor of pickup permanent. Of course any try thief can pry out but keeps kids and honest from dragging out of the truck. Check out pictures. I put security screws on the bracket to keep from a normal drill unscrewing

I bought this to carry in my car for securing my gun when going where it is not allowed. It is fairly heavy duty which is a good thing. I have several other small safes and I never realized how lightly built they were until I got this Hornady safe. It is fantastic the way it can be opened with an RFID (included) tag that I put inside my phone case as well as by a combination that you can set yourself as well as a key (only needed really if the batteries go down). I had a little trouble getting it programmed which may have been my fault or may have been slightly confusing instructions. (I'd hardly ever admit to it being my fault). I was all set to call the company but luckily it was after they had closed and so I tried one more time guessing at what was being said. It worked like a charm! The fact that it comes with a bracelet is nice. The RFID tag is opposite the clasp and foolish me I kept trying to make it work with the clasp. The cable that comes with it is quite strong and relatively thick. It makes the cables on my other small safes look like cheap wire (and I thought before they were pretty good). The wide variety of ways to open this safe make this a real winner along with how well built it seems to be.As an add on it comes with 2 RFID tags, and RFID key fob, a bracelet (with RFID) and if you are using it indoors in a fixed position a plug in so you don't have to use batteries (or you can). Very complete set-up and very well designed.
