Anleitung
- Befestigen Sie den Schlauch.

Helps to drain water fast. Had good flow control. The only thing is that the hose is a bit short for a big tank, taking into account that we usually place it on a cabinet. Then you have to place the bucket not in the floor but on a stool or something. And the clip for a bucket does not hold the hose in place. It slips from the bucket and spills the water.

Ich hatte das gleiche Modell vor einigen Jahren schon einmal gekauft. Allerdings war sowohl der "Blasebalg" als auch Schlauch und Rohr deutlich schmaler. Durch die Größe des Rohres ist das Absaugen an sich zwar wesentlich entspannter, man wirbelt weniger Kies hoch und saugt es auch bei voller Saugkraft nicht immer bis in den Schlauch, aber das Konstrukt ist doch recht unhandlich.Riesen Manko, Eigentlich sollte man mit dem Roten "Blasebalg" das Wasser durch mehrfachem drücken also Pumpen ansaugen, ohne den Schlauch am Ende in den Mund nehmen zu müssen. Leider funktioniert das absolut nicht, selbst, wenn der Gesamte obere Teil unter Wasser ist, schafft es das Ding nicht das Wasser über die 2 bis 3 Cm Höhe des Glasvorsprunges zu pumpen. Man muss also manuell mit dem Mund ansaugen... Genau das wollte ich eigentlich nicht mehr, denn mein alter hatte genau das Problem nach 5 Jahren, dass das Ansaugen mit dem Balg nicht mehr funktionierte.

Habe gedacht, für unsere 50 cm hohen Aquarien wäre dieser Mulmsauger von Fluval perfekt. Leider ist demnicht so. Auch beim Ansaugen mit dem Mund bekommt man keinen Durchfluss hin. Im großen Ansaugrohrbleibt der Wasserspiegel max. 2 cm über dem Wasserspiegel vom Becken stehen. Und das war es dann.Leider konnte ich wegen OP und Krankenhausaufenthalt den Mulmsauger erst jetzt benutzen. Und bindeswegen über die Rücksendefrist hinaus. Das sind dann mal 22€ die so richtig weh tun weil weg.

Der Sauger funktioniert an für sich sehr gut. Auch die Durchflussmengenregelung ist ganz hilfreich. Allerdings ist die Handpumpe nicht wirklich hilfreich, wie zuerst gehofft. Bis das Wasser wirklich von selber läuft, muss man einige Male pumpen und wenn man nicht aufpasst wirbelt die wassersäule durch die pumpbewegung den ganzen kies auf. Mittlerweile sauge ich nur noch mit dem Mund an. Das geht schneller und einfacher.

Cercavo uno strumento più semplice da gestire rispetto a quello che avevo già. La presenza della pompetta è stata determinante. Senza di questa è molto difficile riuscire a far scorrere l'acqua nel tubo. Oltre alla pompetta è presente una levetta che consente di variare il flusso di acqua in modo da limitare l'aspirazione della ghiaia. Altra piccola cosa che in realtà è utilissima è un fermo che consente di fissare il tubo al secchio in cui si scarica l'acqua, evitando cosi di rischiare di farlo inavvertitamente uscire e bagnare per terra. I materiali mi sembrano buoni e robusti. Consigliato.

Der Mulmsauger funktioniert super. Ich finde es gut, dass man die Saugleistung manuell einstellen kann. Man bekommt hier gut den Mulm weg, ohne dass der Eimer direkt voll ist.

I was always intimidated to do gravel cleanings as I used a much bigger tool and just didn't do it right at all. I found this product for my 20gallon and it's super easy to use and I didn't mess up at all this time.The only criticism I have is the clip for the hose in the bucket, the holes are much bigger than the tube so if you're not paying attention the tube can slip out with all the water inside of it. I'm going to have to figure out how to keep it in place. This isn't a deal breaker though as the rest of the product works great!I feel comfortable doing gravel cleanings on my own now.I recommend!I also wanted to note, in terms of the shipment. It came inside an Amazon package bag so it wasn't damaged in transit. Some reviews said they received just the box that was damaged. During checkout sometimes there is a option to select no additional shipment packaging so make sure this isn't checked at checkout so that your package is ship wrapped.

This is an excellent gravel vacuum. The quality is high, the price is moderate, and it works well. Best of all, it is loaded with "quality of life" features that set it apart from other, similar products. Whoever designed this vacuum knew what they were doing, because the little features (squeeze bulb start, bucket clip, flow control, etc. ) it has really set it apart from other vacuums.If you are considering buying this gravel vac, I would say that you should, indeed get it. If you are wondering how it works in various tank sizes, it worked wonderfully in my 29 high, but was also fine in my 10 as well. I believe that it would work in most tanks up a hundred gallons, as well, although if you have nano tanks, you may want to consider the smaller version.Pros:-High quality (strong materials, thick tubing, etc. )-Clip for drain bucket. The clip does a nice job of keeping the hose where it belongs so that the filth and water go into your bucket, not on the floor., which makes it easier to focus on vacuuming and prevents mishaps.)-Squeeze bulb siphon start (the bulb starts the siphon quickly and easily.)-Relatively small tube for more precise vacuuming (massive, oversized tubes are common, but they make it hard to clean around plants and decorations, the smallish tube allows more control and precision.)-good suction and flow (it really can agitate and lift the gravel to suck up muck)-flow control switch (I love it. You have such precise control of the suction that you can be sure to suck up what you want, but not what you don't want. I've used it once, and I'm already spoiled.)Cons:-It is fairly large, and doesn't store in a small space-The filter has to be removed to clean it, and doing so is slightly annoyinghints-It has very strong suction, so you will need to be careful of that the first time you use it.-Be sure that the flow control thumb switch is open when you are starting the siphon ( it wont' start if it is closed... )
