Had a drain blockage from a neighbour and needed to try and check the pipe once cleared the blockage. Whilst had high hopes proved a waste of time the LED simply not good enough for this type of use and the end result poor. The clip on protector a bit of a joke it’s cheap plastic that would snag and worse in lots of scenariosHowever it gets 4 stars as ok for indoor issues I used it to check down the back of some kitchen units to find an item that had gone down the back and helped me locate it with minimum disruption. The connection to my iPhone 12 was somewhat patchy and the App is far from ideal but serves a purpose. I can see it would be good in and around engines and ceiling voids but if honest not as good as I had imagined it would be.

At £20 this is a great little camera. The built-in LED lighting means the light can go around corners with the camera. The gooseneck holds it shape well, and can be pushed around modest (not tight) corners. The phone app is about as basic as they come, but it does exactly what is required. There is a 'photo' button on the neck, as well as on the phone app, so if your hands are greasy you don't need to keep poking your phone :)The hook fitting is quite handy - finally my gf believes me that it was a rubber band down the side of the fridge, and NOT a dead worm!!There is also a magnet fitting, and a 45/90 degree "periscope" fitting - all fit quite tightly :)
