This basically a simple version of a tablet. It allows you to either view photos / files via a micro SD card or USB-C or alternatively have them sent via Wifi from others. It comes with a stand and power supply (although there is an internal battery that will power it for some time). The user interface is pretty basic but then its function is basically to view photos so what is required is there. Movies can also be viewed from the SD / USB.It runs on Android OS so is in effect a tablet. So for the same price or perhaps a few pounds more you could buy a tablet and simply use it to view photos when you wanted to. I don't really see the point of this photo frame now that tablets are so cheap and capable. To be fair the frame is well made and functions as it should, its just that there are better alternatives out there IMO.

The Duronic 10.1 inch digital frame arrived very well packed in a professionally printed cardboard box.In the box you get the frame itself, a removeable desk stand, a USB cable and an instruction manual. This is a very high quality digital display frame and once setup performs very well utilising it's built in timer function.Setup however, is not intuitive and takes a fair bit of time and technical knowledge to get the results that you want! The frame can be wirelessly connected to a WiFi network and users added so that images can be sent automatically from anywhere using the Frameo app or it can have images uploaded directly into its internal memory or for maximum flexibility it can display images directly from either a USB stick or a SD memory card.Once the images have been uploaded and the frame is running, it performs very well and the time between images can be set by the user. The frame will also switch itself on and off at a pre-set time.Image and video quality are very high but I would suggest that this is very much a device for relatively advanced technology users due to the non-intuitive setup and I can see a lot of frustration if this is given as a present to elderly relatives or users not up to date with modern electronic tech.

This is fantastic my daughter absolutely loves it, she’s got it in the bedroom and changes the pictures every day from her phone on Bluetooth, she can even play some videos she has and her friends love it too. This is definitely worth the price £69 for how much fun our daughter is having with this.

This photo frame is not what I was expecting. I was hoping to use it as a portable frame to show friends my photos by connecting it to my iPhone via bluetooth. I have spent some time trying to understand how to use it and so far I have not managed to get it to access all the photos on my phone. The reason I wanted this is because my phone is rather small and I wanted to be able to show people a larger version of the photos. It is possible to send the photos to the frame individually but that takes far longer than I was hoping. So far I have ascertained that you need to download the Frameo app to your phone, set up a link using a code which is generated by the app and then send this code to friends (obviously you can also send it to your own phone). So, this frame would be great if you want friends to send photos to your frame one at a time, but it's not really any use as a viewer for hundreds of photos on your phone.I have found a few problems with it. Firstly the frame's internal memory is very small and you would have to purchase a micro SD card - this is not supplied. I charged it up for a few hours but next time I went to turn it on it gave the low battery message and promptly powered off. The charging cable is USB-C but it comes with a lead with a 3-pin plug which means you need a separate socket for charging. The photos which I managed to get onto the frame's memory were not complete, they were missing a lot of detail around the edges, especially when the original photo was in portrait mode. The instruction manual comes in several languages and really doesn't give much information. The good things: it comes with a stand so that you can display your photos either portrait or landscape. The images are nice and clear once you get it set up. It has a touch screen.I think I probably need to spend more time working out what it can actually do, but the initial impression was that it is not easy to use and doesn't seem to have much of an advantage over sharing photos with a phone or iPad (unless of course you don't have either of these, but then you wouldn't be able to use the Frameo app). Not impressed so far, and for a price of almost £70 I was expecting something a bit more user friendly.

This digital photo frame is essentially a tablet with a stand. The screen isn't going to win any awards but it does the job fine showing good colour and brightness. For putting photos on it, using a microSD card is easiest, which requires another purchase. The other way is to use an app or connect by USB-C cable and upload photos - but it limits how many you can upload at once, which makes it useless in my view. Before buying, consider whether you need a device that needs constant electricity and whether you'll use it long-term or if it will end up as e-waste before long.
