Gut verpackt und unbeschädigt kam das Gerät an. Das Endoskop ist sicher in einem Aufbewahrungskoffer integriert. Ich habe das Gerät entnommen und eingeschaltet. Der Akku hatte vollen Ladezustand, sodass ich gleich loslegen konnte. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist in gutem Deutsch verfasst. Der große Bildschirm ist fantastisch. Bilder werden gestochen scharf dargestellt. Auch Filmen funktioniert tadellos. Die Bilder oder Filme können auf beigefügter Micro-SD-Karte abgespeichert werden. Werden beide Kameras (Front- und Querkamera) eingeschaltet wird das Display halbseitig gesplittet, sodass beides gleichzeitig betrachtet werden kann. Das Kamerakabel ist 5m lang und als biegsame Welle verformbar. Das Verformen bleibt je nach Einstellung erhalten und muss bei Arbeitserledigung händisch zurückgebogen werden. Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich natürlich noch nichts sagen. Insgesamt gesehen macht das Gerät einen sehr soliden Eindruck und ich würde dieses Kameraendoskop jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Die Kamera ist sofort einsatzbereit und war mir bei der Suche nach einer Leckage in einem Abflußrohr eine perfekte Hilfe. Insbesondere die seitliche Kamera, die auch sehr gute Bilder liefert, konnte mir ein 5 mm Loch zeigen, dass zur Leckage geführt hatte.Die Handhabung ist gut beschrieben und einfach, die Bildqualität wirklich gut. Perfekt ist auch die Möglichkeit neben Standbildern eine Videoaufzeichnung zu machen. Die Kamara kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Ich (Heimwerker - kein Experte) habe mir vor zwei Jahren ein ganz ähnliches Gerät von Bosch gekauft, über das ich nachhaltig enttäuscht war. Für kleinere Aufgaben ging es gerade noch so - aber für komplexere Kamerafahrten war es ungeeignet. Der winzige TFT-Monitor schien noch aus der Steinzeit zu stammen und die Endoskop-Kamera war mit gerade mal einem Meter Reichweite allerhöchstens für grobe Besichtigungen gut genug. Außerdem benötigte das Bosch-Gerät Batterien und die Bildqualität war nicht der Rede wert.Als ich nun mein Regenfallrohr kontrollieren musste, kam die Bosch-Kamera an ihre Grenze. Hier war Feierabend.Und hier kommt nun Depstech ins Spiel. Gleicher Preis wie Bosch, aber: ZWEI Kameras (eine nach vorn, eine zur Seite, 5 Meter Endoskop, keine Batterien - über USB-C aufladbar, im Vergleich zu Bosch ein riesiger und vor allem aus allen Winkeln betrachtbarer, heller Monitor und der größte Gag: Es liegt eine 32 GB Micro SD Karte bei. Das Gerät beherrscht nicht nur Fotos, sondern kann die Kamerafahrt auch als Film abspeichern. Dieser kann sogar direkt via USB auf den Rechner übertragen werden. Oder eben per SD-Karte. Die Auflösung ist hoch genug - auf jeden Fall höher als die von Bosch - und das Gerät bleibt trotz seiner beachtlichen Größe immer handlich. Das Ganze kommt dann zu allem Überfluss auch noch in einem kleinen Werkzeugkoffer, in dem man nach getaner Arbeit Endoskop, Ladekabel und Gerät verstauen kann.Ich für meinen Teil war überaus überrascht und auch ein bisschen traurig. Bosch muss wirklich aufpassen. Schade irgendwie. Aber gut für den Endkunden. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wie selten! Große Empfehlung. Den einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die etwas unelegante Menüführung und das für 5 Meter Länge vielleicht etwas zu wabbelig geratene Endoskop-Kabel.

The Depstech DS590 endoscope arrives in a very neat plastic storage case with clips to keep it firmly closed. In the case you get the endoscope device, camera cable, USB-C charging cable, a tube containing “accessories” and a small instruction booklet. Instructions are provided in English and 5 other languages. The instructions are fairly brief but generally clear. There is no ‘getting started’ section, but I found the endoscope and its interface to be intuitive. It was fairly obvious that setting the date and time before using it was generally a good idea, and it did not take long to work out how to navigate the interface to do so – if you have ever set the time on a watch, TV, camera etc then its very similar. The endoscope comes with a 32Gb micro-SD card already inserted. Attaching the wire with the lens and light in was easy to do. I tested the device out initially putting the endoscope under fixed furniture to try to remove something that had slide underneath and I could clearly see what was there. The lighting was sufficient at the default level, but it is easily adjustable. The endoscope wire is a bit stiff, but I could bend the endoscope wire to position it as required. As well as seeing what you are doing on the screen, it is simple to take photos or videos. These can be played back on the endoscope screen or transferred to another device. I removed the micro-SD card and put it into an adapter that could be read by a laptop. For some reason I found that trying to access the files to look at/play them on the card was very slow but copying them off of the card and onto my PC they could be viewed as expected. The endoscope seems robust, there is a handle for holding it and there us a cover over the charging port and micro-SD slot so it should be possible to use it in damp/dirty environments. Picture quality is perfectly adequate for my purposes, and this is a very handy device to have.

The storage case is more practical with a carry handle and foam cutouts to protect the unit.Let’s start by saying that the Depstech DS590 endoscope is a nice improvement over other models. The screen is large, bright and super sharp. A 2-3 hour working time with the larger rechargeable battery is a good amount of time to use the unit without having to charge or plug in a power bank.It does take a little time to get used to the buttons as some of them have multiple functions depending on a quick press or hold. Reading the manual quickly clarifies this.Taking a picture or a video is a piece of cake, press the orange button once quickly for an image or press and hold to start/stop the video. After, the images can be viewed on the screen or use the included cable to connect to a laptop to upload the images or videos. The Micro SD memory card can also easily be removed and put into the card slot on a computer for easy access and download. You may need to use an SD card adapter, but it seems that most of us have several these days.Clarity of the image is exceptional, although if the camera cable is placed many feet away from the main unit, pictures can be a little shaky as would be expected over a long wire/cable length.I have added a few images taken with this endoscope, one is what a garbage disposal unit looks like. Surprise, there are no blades. The other images I took of an hvac vent/duct. I was able to see how much dust and debris has accumulated over the years, which needs to be professionally cleaned.With this tool, out of sight, out of mind is an old adage. What couldn’t be seen before is now easily seen.With this tool one can:Check to see if a clothes dryer vent needs cleaning from where the outside exhaust is located.Check to see if inside the clothes dryer past the lint screen needs to be cleaned.The above is important as house fires have happened from lint laden vents.Check Air conditioner and heating ducts for dust buildup. Cleaning on a regular basis will keep these systems working easier, more efficiently and longer.Look under refrigerators and freezers to see dust and debris needs to be cleaned.Garbage disposals and what is jamming same.Drains of all types. If something accidently been dropped, such as a ring, it can be easily found and retrieved using the magnet or hook attachments. This is especially useful as one does not need to disassemble the drain trap.It is useful to look inside of walls for electrical lines or plumbing with only a small, easily fixable hole.Working on a car: Dropped nuts, bolts and other small parts can be easily located and extracted.I am planning on opening my water heater to examine the condition of the anode rod and check for accumulated hard water scale. I normally acid wash and change the anode rod about every 3 years.I will be able to see any and all mineral scale buildup and make sure the cleaning is complete before putting it back in service.For all you hands-on home improvement warriors, this is a must add for your toolbox.

Wir haben im Haus leider Mäuse und daher brauchte ich etwas, um in Ritzen und Spalten nachschauen zu können. Das kann mit dem Geräte ausgezeichnet. Bin erst jetzt auch draufgekommen, dass es zwei Kameras gibt. Quasi die Hauptkamera, die gerade aufnimmt und eine zweite, die auf der Seite platziert ist und man damit um 90 Grad schauen kann. Also zB in ein ganz schmales Rohr, wo man "auf die Seite" schauen muss. Egal, tolles Teil. Bildqualität sehr gut, mittels USB aufladbar. DIe Kamera vorne ist etwa 5mm breit, und macht sehr gute Aufnahmen - Fotos und Film. Beides mit einer Hand umschaltbar, Starten und stoppen.Vielleicht nicht billig, aber ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!

We needed to see into a pipe to determine if something had dropped into it, our options were to rent a camera or to call and get a charged for a service call on a weekend. We saw this camera and decided to give it a try since we could get same day delivery. The camera worked out great!!! It actually has two cameras; one is in the front, and one is on the side, and you can see both camera views at the same time on the viewing screen. It was easy to use, charged up fast, can take a picture or video, comes with the charging cable and mini-SD card, and we loved that it had a handle. One of us ran the camera into the pipe and the other watched the view screen as the camera moved thru the pipe. Our retired plumber friend was impressed with the clarity of the pictures. We also liked that the picture was in color. This is going to be a great tool to add to our toolbox...a great gift for that someone that has everything. This camera can be used in a ton of areas, pipes, car repairs, vents, to see behind a wall without making a big hole and I am even planning on using it to check our wood stove chimney liner next spring.
