Ich habe mich sehr gefreut, als meine Japanzwinge angekommen ist und sie in meinen Händen lag. Sie ist funktionell, leicht zu bedienen, leichtgängig und tut alles was sie soll für eine Zwinge. Ein Wehmutstropfen ist, dass ich einen Monat gewartet habe.Zur Vorweihnachtszeit jedoch, mache ich niemand einen Vorwurf.Alles in allem, ich freue mich auf den ersten Einsatz.

As a hobby woodworker making mainly small boxes, thought I'd try some of these. Having looked elsewhere I settled on the smallest clamp(s!) as they (it) offered prime delivery. Other vendors that I checked (and re-checked just now (axminstertools.com)) offer these style clamps in pairs and, since the word clamps (not clamp) is mentioned not only in the description but all throughout the page, I naturally assumed I was getting a pair so I'm a little disappointed at that. The clamp itself seems fit for purpose, i.e. light clamping without the ability to apply a great deal of pressure. Build quality, in my opinion, could be a little better with burrs present on most machined edges. These can (and will) be removed with a little sanding or filing but they just make the tool unfinished. Would have been four stars if not for this. Final verdict, OK but not great and description needs to be corrected.UPDATE.Ordered some from elsewhere, so much better.

I purchased two of the largest clamps and two of the smallest (which are not just shorter - they have a thinner bar and head) after seeing a modeller use them on youtube. After receiving them and checking out the quality I immediately ordered 2 more large and 4 more small. Something every modeller should have.

Ne ho acquistati due. Uno aveva la vite di bloccaggio piegata e il fermo finale che si sfila dalla sua sede. Inutilizzabile. più avanti tenterò una riparazione perchè non ho tempo per fare il reso.
