I absolutely love the red color! It looks fantastic and really stands out. I've had no issues with this product at all—it's been a great experience so far. Thumbs up! 👍

This arrived while we were away and when we got back it was too late to return. This inverter is only suitable for America and not the UK or Europe. We were confused why an American item was being sold on a UK Amazon site. Our fault I suppose but we did not find any information which stated it was not suitable for the UK

I bought this because I work in my car and my laptop has a 300W charger that would keep blowing the fuse every time I tried to use other inverters in my car. This works perfectly, it does have a fan that is noticeable if there is no background noise while you are parked. While you are driving or have a radio playing you cannot notice the fan much at all. After about 2 months of use the inside area of the 110 outlet broke and separated from the housing, making that part unusable. I contacted the seller and had a response within minutes. Within the hour they let me know they would be sending me a replacement through Amazon and I received it 2 days later. It is refreshing to know that the seller stands behind their warranty and product. Now I know this is a brand that I can trust to purchase with moving forward.

May 2022 Update: product wattage rating LOWER than advertised. With car engine running to keep the car battery at max voltage and not to be a factor and NOTHING plugged into the 2 x USB-A ports), I plugged into outlet #1 my rechargeable Braunn electric shaver and into outlet #2 my ASUS laptop [combined wattage under 300] and the devices would keep cutting out. Only one device would charge at a time. First a laptop would start charging and then after a couple seconds it would beep of being unplugged and then my cell phone again charging. I don't understand why both devices could not charge simultaneously when both devices combined was under the "rated" 300 watts. My advice to those looking to purchase and inverter: WHATEVER YOUR TOTAL WATTAGE NEEDS ARE, DOUBLE IT IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO DO SO. IF YOU'RE WORKING ON A BUDGET INCREASE BY 50%. So if you need 200 watts purchase at least 300watts (50% extra to buffer you from manufacturer's over exaggerated claims)Original review:This model and all brands putting their logo on this model type is something you should PASS ON.PUTTING aside the poor build quality and subpar components that are hidden within this fancy aluminum case, PUTTING aside the short life expectancy of such a product (dont expect this to last a single year with daily use), here are the FLAWS why all these models (150-300 watt) products in this product line should be SKIPPED OVER:1) Wattage: I doubt many of you will test your product to ensure it actually produces 300w but give it a try (with a voltmeter to verify). My 300w unit struggled to keep a 185w gaming laptop going.2) outlet placement - this is a biggie. All these models on this product line put both outlets so close together that you really only have ONE OUTLET. Modern phone chargers and devices have a fat plug so 2 plugs can't fit side by side. If they had just SPACED out the 2 outlets by 1 more inch or even ROTATED the second plug 90 degrees so they won't hit each other - that right there shows a lack of design and if such a simple thing was overlooked, makes you wonder what critical components inside were overlooked as well. SUCH AS the power switch being IN THE BACK. And the switch only controls the 2 outlets. The switch doesn't control the USB ports. There are no mounting brackets or way to semi permanent connect inverter. You'll have to DIY your own tape/ Velcro to the dashboard if you don't want it sliding around while driving...Lastly because this is a budget priced model I won't hold the following things against it. But I will mention their absence:- Only 1 cooling fan. This unit gets HOT when maxing out. And at only 300 peak watts it WILL max out often.- Not a pure sine wave. An issue for using this with electronics. Also because its not a pure sine wave it DRAWS MORE POWER from your car battery for the same output.- All USB ports SHARE the amperage output so if you have your phone high speed charging and plug in a second phone then the first phone charging speed will HALVE.-USB ports are NOT on seperate circuits. If one device somehow shorts out and fries the port it will feedback into tbe other USB connected device- NO LCD screen. No indicator lights to alert you when maxing out wattage or when a fuse needs replacing.

Everyone can find some use for the inverter, but I am going to review it from my perspective and what I use it for. I go on micro trips with my DJI drone and some camera equipment that are power hungry, so I’m going through many batteries on a one-day trip.On a given day I go through about 3-4 battery charges for my drone, the same amount for the cameras. One smart battery for the drone costs about $115 - $145 and say $20-$25 for the camera. So on a given day I’d have to have 4 fully charged drone batteries 4 x $115 = $460 and 4 camera batteries 4 x $20 = $80 so we are looking at total cost $540 for a bank of batteries. Thanks to ALLWEI 300W Car Power Inverter DC 12V to 110V AC Converter – I have just 2 drone batteries and 2 camera batteries so I cut the cost by half - $230 not spent , I paid like $30 for the inverter so I’m left with $200 for some brewskis (imagine if I needed … say 8 charges per day – we are looking in thousands $$ in batteries). All the batteries need to be connected to their chargers that run on 110-120V, so while I fly my drone and using the camera the other batteries are charging.I also use the inverter for my power-hungry laptop which is very helpful. The 2 USB ports is a nice touch, but I don’t use them, only because I keep the inverter connected to the power in my trunk and other electronics like a smartphone or something I connect to a USB port in the cabin (most cars have the USBs inside). The ALLWEI 300W Car Power Inverter has a nice clean design, is light and quiet. This is how I found the use for the inverter, works for me and it was worth it.
